CLAWED CANDLES

Clawed Candles is a local company specializing in handcrafted artisan soy candles, designed in unique and fun shapes. The color palette typically features soft, pastel tones. These candles not only offer a long-lasting fragrance but also serve as beautiful decorative art pieces.

Clawed Candles reached out to me to create a logo for their company, with the name already established. They wanted the logo to reflect the concept of fingernails, tying into the “Clawed” aspect of their name. I aimed to incorporate this symbolism while ensuring the logo clearly represented candles. I achieved this by combining elements of both nails and candles. These elements include a flame shaped like a nail and scratch marks reminiscent of the stripes of iconic candle designs. The pastel pinks compliment the color palette of their products, unifying the overall branding. The typeface exudes elegance to reflect the handmade details, while its rounded softness conveys the friendly, playful nature of the product designs.
